Train operator Wrexham &Shropshire, which links Banbury with Telford, Shrewsbury and North-East Wales, is inviting photographers to enter a contest to illustrate its 2011 calendar, which will raise money for charity.
W&S wants to see creative photos of its trains, taken anywhere along its route, including the Chiltern Line through the north-east of Oxfordshire.
The overall winner will have their photo featured on the cover of the calendar, as well as inside, and will receive a pair of first class W&S tickets for a trip to London.
The calendar will be available to purchase on trains in late autumn for £10 (or by mail order for £12).
For each calendar sold, 50p will go to the Railway Children charity, which helps street children in the UK, India and Africa.
For full details of the contest, which closes on Friday, September 17, see www.wrexhamandshropshire.co.uk/ charity-calendar-competition.php
