RUGBY UNION: Bulls duo at double
5:48pm Monday 8th March 2010
Midlands 2 East South
Captain Sean Bannister and wing Jed Boyle each bagged a brace of tries as Banbury Bulls won 39-3 at Northampton Old Scouts.
The solid display keeps Banbury six points clear the top – although they have played two more games.
Bulls led 25-3 at the break thanks to flanker Bannister’s double and scrum half Grant Holmes, plus two conversions and two penalties from centre Mike Smith.
Smith converted Boyle’s second-half double, while flanker Darren De Bruyn was sin-binned.
