Hugh Grant 'smeared in cake'
1:07am Friday 19th March 2010

Hugh Grant was apparently smeared with chocolate cake during a row with a PR guru at a glitzy birthday bash.
The incident reportedly involved Matthew Freud and took place at the exclusive celebrity hotspot Annabel's in London on Wednesday night.
Heather Kerzner, wife of hotel tycoon Sol Kerzner, was celebrating her birthday with a giant cake bearing the words: "Love is all you need."
It is reported that Freud and Grant became embroiled in a row during the party.
Love Actually star Grant, who has been represented by Freud in the past, is said to have ended up with chocolate cake smeared down his shirt and later changed into a clean one.
Guests at the bash included Grant's ex-girlfriend Elizabeth Hurley and Sir Philip Green.
A spokeswoman for Freud, who is behind PR firm Freud Communications, declined to comment. A spokeswoman for Annabel's also declined to comment, saying the nightclub does not give out details about its parties.
Grant's US-based spokeswoman was unavailable for comment.
